Founded in 2017 by Max Johnson ACII, the business has been built on cultural, ethical & professional values from the ground up, focusing on core sectors and delivering a service that meets the fast pace demands of today. We are continually looking at new ways of working, to ensure our advice and service remains timely and accurate.
It is only when things go wrong that our insurance policies are scrutinised, so we work closely with our clients to understand the risks they face and what they want to achieve, so we can ensure they are best placed with policies designed to do the job they are intended to do when really needed.
If we are unable to assist, we will try and point you in the direction of someone who can.

Max Johnson ACII Managing Director
Founder and the heart of the operation.
Max is an Associateship of the Chartered Insurance and has over 10yrs experience in insurance broking.
Outside of work enjoys most things involving food, drink and the great outdoors.
Heidi Smith Finance Administrator
We welcome Heidi to the team to assist with our accounts after taking the decision to handle our client money in house from 1st July 2023.
Heidi has a BA (Hons) in International Development and Sociology and worked in the Insurance industry for over 15 years on both side of the ponds. Interesting fact, Heidi worked for Johnson Insurance Canada once upon a time.
During downtime, she enjoyes the many wonderful public footpaths of England walking the dog, Baxter, and looking for the best pub she can find!
Liam Smith Claims Handler
Liam has joined the team to assist our clients with their claims providing the guidance and support from start to finish
Prior to Johnson Insurance, Liam worked in financial lines providing advice to clients on life insurance and is relishing the new challenge!
Outside of work, Liam is an avid Liverpool FC and Featherstone Rovers fan, and a fastly improving golfer.
Amy Hodge ACII Senior Account Handler
This month (April 2024) we welcomed Amy to assist with our Commercial clients and any queries, renewals, changes and new business.
Amy has a BA (Hons) in Business Management and ACII qaulification to her name. She spent 12 yrs with a national broker starting in claims before moving into a handling role, before taking a mini-break from insurance.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending her time with her family and working cocker spaniel.

George Greenock Cert CII Account Executive
George on boarded in November 2021 as an Account Executive working on the front end and looking to grow our presence in East Anglia.
He previously spent 8yrs as an Account Executive specialising in Farm, Estate and Private Client, building an excellent reputation as a true professional that puts the interests of his clients first.
Outside of work, George has his hands full with alot of chickens, a young family and a love of most country pursuits!
Jamie Birkin Dip CII Senior Account Handler
Jamie joined the team in June 2022 to work along side George in our Fakenham office to assist with renewals, mid-term adjustments and client queries.
He has a wealth of experience in broking specialising in Private Client and Farm insurance, and has his Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Joint Honours Law and Criminology degree to boot.
In his free time, Jamie is a family man and keen Nottingham Forest fan for his sins.
Roxy Houliston Account Handler
Roxy kick started the 2024 New Year joining the team in Fakenham to assist with renewals, mid-term adjustments and any ad-hoc queries.
Having spent time growing up with horses and working on a farm, she understands the risks our Agricultural and Equine clients face.
Outside of work, Roxy loves spending time in great outdoors with her boxer and labrador
